We request that you disclose any pre-existing injuries or diseases/disorders which you are aware of and could reasonably be expected to foresee could be affected by the nature of the position you are applying for. Failure to do so may jeopardise future employment.
Note - Under section 82 (7&8) of the Accident Compensation Act 1985, failure to disclose information regarding pre-existing injuries or diseases may result in the worker not entitled to Work Cover compensation for that particular injury or disease in the event of recurrence, aggravation, acceleration, exacerbation or deterioration of the condition.
National Police Clearence
As a part of our recruitment process we require applicants to provide us with a current (within 3 months) National Police Clearance. This is part of our internal recruitment process, however it is a requirement to provide this information to many of our customer sites to access before approval is provided for site access.
Disclosed Police Clearance
A police clearance either indicates that no records are held or contains information obtained from police agencies that is able to be disclosed. What information can be disclosed is determined by each police agency based in legislation and information release policies. A police clearance usually includes -
1. court appearances
2. court convictions, including any penalty or sentence
3. findings of guilt with no conviction
4. good behaviour bonds or other court orders
5. charges
6. matters awaiting court hearing.
